November 2025 is shaping up to be one of the most active months for token unlocks in recent memory, with over $2.1 billion in value scheduled to be released across some of the most closely watched projects in crypto. From foundational layer-1s to emerging DeFi protocols, the unlock calendar is packed with cliff events, vesting releases, and ecosystem incentives that could reshape market dynamics.
The biggest unlock of the month kicked off on November 1 with SUI, releasing 43.96 million tokens worth approximately $146.55 million. This represented 1.21% of its circulating supply and was part of its long-term vesting schedule. While the percentage may seem modest, the dollar value alone made it the most significant unlock of the month.
Ethena (ENA) just unlocked 171.88 million tokens on November 5, worth around $61.54 million. This cliff unlock represents 2.52% of its circulating supply and is tied to early contributor and ecosystem allocations. ENA’s unlock is particularly notable for its timing—clustered with other high-volume releases that could amplify volatility.
Aptos (APT) follows with a scheduled unlock on November 11, releasing 11.31 million tokens valued at $34.49 million. This accounts for 2.11% of its circulating supply and comes at a time when APT is attempting to stabilize after recent price swings. Investors will be watching closely to see how this release affects liquidity and sentiment.
Aster (ASTER) has one of the most aggressive unlocks by percentage, with 164.7 million tokens scheduled for release on November 17. Valued at $84.99 million, this represents roughly 8.16% of its circulating supply. The size and timing of this unlock make it a key event for ASTER holders and traders.
MEME and MOVE tokens are also unlocking between November 5 and 10.
MEME releases 3.45 billion tokens worth $5.22 million, accounting for 5% of its total supply.
MOVE will unlock 50 million tokens, estimated at $15 million, representing 0.5% of its total supply. While these tokens have lower individual value, their high volume and community-driven nature make them worth tracking.
Beyond these headline events, linear unlocks from major altcoins like SOL and AVAX continue to apply gradual pressure to the market. These daily releases are typically absorbed by trading volume but can still influence short-term price action, especially during periods of low liquidity.
All in all, this November’s unlock calendar is dense with high-impact events. If you’re trading, use the price swings from these unlocks. If you’re holding long-term… why?
Altcoins have been the worst assets for holding long term. Since 2021 we have not had a good reason to hold alts for the long term and I do hope you will not be a bagholder for years to come. Re-evaluate your strategy.
